Seir Anphin is a stable web platform which allows you to login and manage your site through your browser. By itself the core is an excellent foundation upon which to deploy websites. Featuring user authentication, template-based interface with scripting capabilities and language abstraction the core is essentially a versatile system for building personal homepages. It is your choice of the modules which transforms and specializes your site.

Installation Program

The install system adds, removes and synchronizes data used by modules in order to have them automatically integrate themselves with your layout and add their controls to the administration panel.

The installer shows you which modules are installed and which tables in the database are missing.

A server check tells you whether Seir Anphin will run properly.

Administration

The Control Panel allows one person to quickly attend to all administrative functions on the site. From tracking down users, to moderating content and creating new pages and sections, everything you see can be changed through your web browser.

• Choose from several ready-to-use CSS based skins. Or login and begin creating your own. The Developer Toolbar for Firefox is recommended to make CSS testing quick and easy.
• Customize the configuration, language and underlying HTML of any part of the site. Links in the Control Panel allow you to browse the lists of templates, wordbits, and settings which Seir Anphin uses to present and format content. Templates and wordbits can also be set to show up in place on a page to make finding and editing them even easier.
• Add premade content blocks to any page on your site. Widgets like mini-calendars, Skin Choosers and Forum Jumps can be added to any page very easily. The versatile block system also allows you to generate lists of any content in the database and show your own custom templates anywhere on the page without ever having to touch the underlying code or use an FTP.

Security

Seir Anphin has many design considerations which protect your users from account theft and protect your community from abusive spamming and malicious hacking. These measures are only as effective as your backend is secure, and a knowledgeable systems administrator is required to protect valuable data.

Social Networking

Seir Anphin brings many ways for users to interact on your site.

• Private messaging helps users connect. Users can organize their private messages into custom folders and you control how much space they can use to store messages.
• Easily locate user content using enhanced profiles. AJAX-powered user profiles allow you to easily find user content submissions, top friends and even shows which users are on their ignore lists.
• Keep in contact with quick notes. Users can keep in touch with a small chat box in all public areas of the site and leave messages in one each other's profiles for all to read.
